Product Review: Purity Organic Skincare Anti Aging Moisturiser

Organic skincare has created a lot of buzz in the last year, but a product needs more then eco credentials to be worthy of our approval. The Purity line of skincare is available exclusively in Superdrug, and delivers a whole lot of goodness, for a very reasonable price. Read on for the full review of their anti-aging moisturiser.

This moisturiser is packaged in a plain plastic pot, which feels surprisingly heavy to hold. I like the simple white and violet design as it’s very clean and fresh looking, and works well for fans of minimalist toiletries.

The cream is very thick and nourishing, but sinks in surprisingly quickly, meaning you won’t cover your pillow in gloop. I’d suggest using this at night, but that could be because my skin is quite young and doesn’t need all those active ingredients twice a day- but its a very nice thick night cream.

It’s created with Coconut oil, Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil, and these work together to soften and condition the skin. There is also Aloe Vera and Vitamin E added for extra nourishment, and you will feel the difference in your skin almost immediately- the texture seems to instantly get smoother and silkier.

It’s certificated by ECOCERT and uses 98% of ingredients which are sourced naturally. It’s supposed to be fragrance free, but I find that the inclusion of rosewater gives it a lightly delicate hint of florals, quite soothing and calming. I’m very impressed by this brand, both with the results and with the price point and highly recommend you check it out! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
