The Friday Five ! beauty products must have 6

Rejoice fellow beauty fans, for Friday is upon us once more! As promised here’s our brand new Friday Five containing the best cosmetics and beauty products that we’ve been loving this week. Keep reading after the jump to see what we think is hot in this cold, dull weather!

Gosh Shampoo Damage Control

The cold weather recently has a lot to answer for, not only does it dry our skin but it also has drastic effects on the hair, often leaving it dry and brittle. When you have fine, flyaway hair like mine that is never a good thing! Part of the Friday five this week has to be Gosh Shampoo Damage Control which helps gently restore your hair and leaves it beautifully soft and fluffy! Perfect.

Frédéric Fekkai Shea Butter Moisturising Conditioner

Because we’re on the topic of hair and due to all of the reasons outlined above yes, we really need more hair products in our life this week! Specifically, this fab Frédéric Fekkai Shea Butter Moisturising Conditioner. Simply apply this to the damaged and visibly dry areas of the hair, leave for a few minutes then rinse. Perfect for leaving your hair feeling silky smooth but not limp and lifeless like some conditioners out there!

Boots Expert Acetone Free Polish Remover

Now, as you’ll know from past articles this week, we’ve been using a LOT of nail polish, playing with various bright and beautiful colours and finding some top picks for Beauty Now readers. Whilst we’ve had great fun doing so, it is so important to have a great nail polish remover to remove the colour when it begins to chip or when (like me) you get fed up with it and want to try a different colour out!

When it comes to nail polish removers, you only want to strip off the colour, not your natural oils. Boots Experts acetone-free nail polish remover sweeps off colour quickly and gently without drying or whitening. It works a treat on false nails too. Handy!

I.D. Bareminerals Full Colour Buxom Lips Carmen By Bare Escentuals

We love the Bare Escentuals and Bare minerals range and have recently been using the fantastic I.D. Bareminerals Full Colour Buxom Lips Carmen By Bare Escentuals to create a long lasting, plumping shine to our lips. I apply this before I go out to do the school run in the mornings and I love the subtle tingling effect it gives and the visible plumpness it creates! I wouldn’t be without mine. We’ll be doing a big feature on this brand soon so watch out!

Vaseline Cocoa Body Butter

Vaseline Cocoa Body Butter is a thick, creamy, pampering butter, rich in emollients and moisturisers to hydrate dry skin. Its fast absorbing yet soothing ingredients, cocoa and shea butters, give skin an instant moisture boost which lasts throughout the day. Use it all over your body as it melts into the skin, leaving it soft, smoothing away dullness and restoring its natural glow. Mmmm!

Have a lovely weekend and see you all back here on Monday for more beauty reviews, product features and general beauty based hysteria!
