Black nail varnish was once the domain of the angst ridden teenager, stropping around the house playing Metallica at full volume. They’ll be angry once more, as this area has now become something of a fashion with celebrities worldwide. At the recent BAFTA awards Kate Winslet and Olivia Williams were seen sporting a decadent black nail, with Paris Hilton also channeling the look at various red carpet events. They enjoy the slightly rebellious attitude that black varnish gives them, the devil may care spirit and fact that their nails will go with any outfit they were- though all have opted to keep their style monochrome. This is a very easy trend to copy at home, just make sure you find a product that’s long lasting and correct any chips straightaway. (more…)

UPDATE: Fixed, phew!
Just in case you were wondering why all pages on our website (aside from the blog) are going to a generic error page, its because we’re in the midst of a software upgrade that has gone rather pear-shaped!
Thankfully, our super-smart tech boffins are sifting through the wreckage as we write, and so hopefully we’ll be back up and running soon. Enjoy the blog meantime (it runs on different software and so remains blissfully unaware of the trials and tribulations of its big sis’).
Ahh, the joys of beta software…

ArtDeco is a German brand that has been wowing fashionistas lately, but due to limited stockists it hasn’t yet had the national acclaim it deserves.
