There’s something about an up-do that makes even the most beauty resistant lady emit a secret sigh, as there’s nothing overtly feminine and Barbiefied about this style. No ruffles or doilies necessary,just a dab hand with the kirby grips and lip gloss is completely optional. The Spring/Summer Collection from the House of Holland displayed an eclectic collection of denim prints with floaty ethereal satin, but what had the beauty girls gripped was the bold lips and punky styling of the models. As they flounced down the runway the House of Holland girls were seen sporting bruised mauve lips and rocking red shades, and we couldn’t help but wish we’d opted for something more exciting than nudes lip gloss. There are some products that are so good that you discount the pricetag and turn them into lifelong handbag staples, and Rodial Glam Balm is such a one. It looks rather innocuous in its 50ml tube, its sleek white and silver packaging not revealing the glory that lies within, yet the results are impressive enough to put it on par with Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour cream.

It’s a  thick all purpose moisturizing skin treatment, that’s good for all kinds of ailments, and perfect for use as an after sun lotion or in flight mask. Such claims have been made of many similar products, but due to a recent holiday which included burns, insect bites and long haul flights I’m able to personally attest to this creams wonder inducing powers.
