Something that isn’t available in the current test version of Beauty Now, but that we hope to start making available at least in part after our offical launch later this year is our range of Social Shopping features.

What is Social Shopping you ask?  Well Social Shopping (in a nutshell) takes all the fun of social networking (like Facebook or Bebo) and applies it to shopping – which to us makes it even more fun!

Once it is live, you will be able to login to Beauty Now and create your very own Beauty Profile. Once you’ve done this you’ll be able to the following cool things:

Just as when Kevin goes back on Grand Designs after a few months to check on whether or not those windows ever did turn up from Italy, we can proudly report to all our returning visitors that the Beauty Now build is progressing really well and we are getting ever closer to finishing off the main technical gubbins that go together to make our website work.

This will only leave us with the ongoing job of manually editing and categorising all the beauty products, haircare products, cosmetics and fragances from all of the UK’s leading internet retailers (“Only!” Ed.)

This has been one of the most time consuming bits of getting Beauty Now ready to launch and we’ve got another couple of months of hard graft remaining.

However, we really feel that having every product manually edited  is what makes Beauty Now unique (it is our “unique selling point” as our marketing bods call it).
